trend watch

i'm digging the tights with knee-high socks over them instead of pants for when it gets cold out. i love knee-high socks but am a little too self-conscious about my thighs to wear only them with a short enough skirt to admire the socks in their entirety. the tights-underneath-the-socks look is 1) layers, so i love it, 2) functional for winter, and 3) great for girls who don't want to share too much of their lovely backside ... if ya know what i mean. with oxfords, flat or heeled, or booties... or knee high boots... or OVER the knee boots. oh yeah. this is gonna work. i can feel it.
