my kids are too fly

at school, i know i have a good outfit on when students i don't even know come down my hallway to see what i'm wearing.... or when i get a, "you fly" out of nowhere on my way to the main office. my kids are in uniforms all day, but they always have amazing jewelry and accessories. prom solidified my sneaking suspicion that my kiddies are more glamorous than i'll ever be. their sense of what they look good in and what is about to be a trend was right on (can i pretend i somehow taught them that through all those spanish lessons?)adam looking so handsome and dapper in his white tux.

helen killed it! look at the back on that thing. so pretty. and it matched her tattoos, which is always a plus.
sharekia was so happy and glamorous all night. she couldn't stop smiling. i think helen's and her dress were made by the same shop. cut-out backs! i'm tellin' ya. so versatile. i'm coveting a summer dress with a cut-out back in a little shop on u street in washington dc right now. i pass it on my way to the metro. it's taunting me.
